Where do you stand on Global Warming?

As the global warming issue has heated up in the national news, the News & Observer is giving its readers the chance to weigh in on a local level and voice their opinions.

Here is the information from today’s paper:

On Sunday, The News & Observer will begin a series on the current and potential effects of global warming on our state. The N&O has asked Dr. Douglas J. Crawford-Brown of UNC-Chapel Hill to answer your questions. Crawford-Brown is director of UNC-CH’s Institute for the Environment.

If you would like to take the opportunity to weigh in on the issue and possibly have your opinion featured in the paper, here’s what you do:

Send your question by e-mail to globalwarming@newsobserver.com, or submit it by voice mail at 829-4830.   Just provide your name, the town or city where you live, and a phone number.  Sending your picture via email is also welcomed, but optional.
