RS Sponsors NCWF Reception

This Saturday, February 10th, Restoration Systems will sponsor a reception and dinner for the North Carolina Wildlife Federation to be held at the North Raleigh Hilton.  The evening reception and banquet will cap off the day’s events, which include a Board Meeting, Annual Meeting and breakout sessions for the organization.  During the dinner, tribute will be paid to leaders in the conservation industry, which includes the NC Ecosystem Enhancement Program.  Spokesperson for the EEP, Tad Boggs, highlighted the anticipated events:

“The N.C. Ecosystem Enhancement Program will receive recognition in the highest environmental honors awarded annually in North Carolina at the 2006 Governor’s Conservation Achievement Awards banquet in Raleigh.   On behalf of EEP, Director Bill Gilmore will accept the Natural Resources Agency of the Year award.  The Governor’s Conservation Achievement Awards are sponsored by the North Carolina Wildlife Federation and the National Wildlife Federation to ‘honor individuals, governmental bodies, organizations and others who have exhibited an unwavering commitment to conservation in North Carolina.’

EEP recognizes the contributions of all of its partners, and in particular its sponsoring partners at the N.C. Department of Transportation, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the N.C. Department of Environment and Natural Resources, in earning this distinct honor.”

Restoration Systems looks forward to the event and will follow-up on Monday with a recap and photos.
