I took these photos July 30 of our Carbonton Dam removal and Causey Farm Stream Restoration Project.  I was disappointed in the amount of haze in the photos, so I did not show them around widely (just to the project manager).

On reviewing them today with a little enhancement, I realized “they aint so bad” and might be blog worthy.  So here they are:

Above is the former site of the Carbonton Dam (more later on the coming park!).

Below is the upper reach of the Causey Farm stream restoration (of 2003), with cattle crossings and nice riparian wetlands visible.

You will be amazed when you see how different these properties look in a few weeks, in the fall, the next time we take air photos.
