This winter we successfully completed a controlled explosion, removing a portion of the Lowell Mill Dam in Johnston County, NC. The removal has opened up over 40 miles of river as spawning habitat for American and Hickory Shad. We are anxiously awaiting their return to this location…this is an excellent fishing spot!!
